FRAM CQ will again host it’s Annual 6v6 Holiday tournament for U7-U10 boys and girls. The tournament will be held at the spectacular Nansen Field in Rolling Hills Estates.

TOURNAMENT COST - $150 Per Team

The tournament is designed to give younger players and their families an idea of what soccer tournaments are all about and to introduce them to the FRAM CQ Soccer Club and Youth Academy. Last year we had over 50 teams competing from numerous local AYSO Regions and other organizations. The main focus of the tournament is for the players and their families to have fun and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. Entertainment for younger siblings will be available.
AYSO players are invited to participate in a fun tournament consisting of short-sided games aimed at preparing players for the upcoming AYSO Select and playoff soccer seasons. The AYSO philosophy at the Section, Area, and National level encourages play outside your region. Authorization from your AYSO Regional Commissioner to bring at team is not required. Insurance will be provided by the Tournament.
Start looking for your players now. Teams can be formed by any coach and the maximum number of players on the teams range from 6 to 10. Players that are currently playing on a Club team are not eligible to participate. Acceptance will be on a first come first serve basis. Be sure to register early as some age groups filled up last year.
Registration and payment for tournament will be done online.
Coaches for the younger existing and new FRAM teams that will be forming in late Winter 2009 will be at the tournament to scout for players for their teams.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Team check-in on the Thursday or Friday night before your play date is required
6 v 6 players (including goalie) on small sided fields
Each team is to provide a volunteer referee - referees eat free at the snack stand
We can help you fill your roster or place individual players on teams
U10 teams should consist of Select (All-star) caliber players to maintain competition level
Maximum roster size is 10 players
Numbered uniforms or pinnies are required
Each team will play a minimum of 3 games
Medals will be given to Champions & 2nd place teams
All players participating will receive a tournament t-shirt
Bouncers or other entertainment will be available for younger siblings
Back up dates (December 26 & January 2) have been reserved in the event weather requires cancellation
FRAM CQ TEAMS WILL BE SPONSORING A SNACK STAND AT THE FIELD
Recreational Division Teams Only (No CYSA or club teams allowed)
