Our home field, Nansen Field, was originally a sports field used by visiting Norwegian seamen in the 1940’s.The field was named after Fridtjof Nansen, the famed Norwegian explorer and humanitarian.The Club, FRAM, formed in 1964, was named for his ship, FRAM, which is the Norwegian word for “forward.” Thus the Norwegian ship on our logo below.
