Ajax Advances to the 2009 WPSL National Final

            

WPSL 2008 Champion, six time US National Champion Ajax Women returned to the WPSL finals August 1 & 2, in Garden City, New York.  Ajax achieved a definitive 5-0 victory in the WPSL National Semi-Final against Miami Kickers FC.  However, the Long Island Fury was able to pull out a 1-0 win against Ajax in the WPSL National Final.

Brian Boswell Named WPSL Coach of the Year!
Ajax America Women's Team Coach, FRAM CQ Academy Director & FRAM CQ GU14 Coach

Ajax America’s Brian Boswell was named WPSL Coach of the Year for the fourth straight season, as his side rebounded from losing five starters from the 2007 U.S. Open Cup winners in the offseason to win the 2008 WPSL Championship in classy fashion.

The FRAM Ajax America Women’s Team, recent 2008 Women’s
Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Champions, has several former FRAM players and current FRAM CQ and Academy coaches on its roster and staff.  Ajax Women’s America has won six (6) National Championships since 1998.  Brian Boswell, Ajax America Coach, FRAM CQ Youth Academy Director and FRAM CQ GU14  team coach, has been voted the WPSL Coach of the Year for the past 4 seasons.  Ajax will be the reserve team to the LA SOL in the WPS for this coming season. The WPSL is a 51-team national women’s soccer league with five conferences and is considered one of the top women’s soccer leagues in the world. The WPSL’s mission is to provide the highest level of women’s soccer while simultaneously providing affordable, quality family entertainment and positive role models for youth.

Ajax Wins WPSL National Championship
As the final seconds of the 2008 Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) National Final ticked off the clock, and the victorious Ajax America Women (14-3-1) began their team celebration, in a 3-1 victory over the Arizona Rush (10-2-3) for the 2008 WPSL National Champions.
