He also coached 11 youth players who went on to play for their respective National teams, including the U.S. National team, 21 All Americans, 5 College Hall of Famers, 8 present and former College Division 1 coaches and numerous college players.

Brian holds both a U.S.S.F. and English F.A. National coaching license as well as the U.S.S.F. National Youth coaching license and the NSCAA Goalkeeping License. He was a staff coach for Cal South.  He was voted Metropolitan Life U.S. coach of the year and WPSL Coach of the Year 4 times from 2005 - 2008.

Brian was voted into the WPSL Hall of Fame’s 2011 inaugural class along with Brandi Chastain.

Brian is the assistant coach for the Orange County Waves which is the new professional womens soccer team in Orange County. The Orange County Waves won the 2011 WPSL National Championship beating fellow professional teams the Boston Breakers in the semi final and the Chicago Red Stars in the final. This makes the 6th year in a row that Brian has coached a team in the WPSL Final 4.

Brian was the coach for the Ajax America Women’s team from 1998-2010. Ajax play in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (
WPSL).  The Ajax team has included 16 players who have played on their National teams and 6 in the Women’s United Soccer Association (WUSA). Shannon Boxx and Abby Wambach have both played for Ajax. The Ajax team were the 2008 WPSL National Champions and 2009  and 2010 National Championship finalists.  Two years ago Ajax were the reserve team for the LA SOL, Los Angeles women’s professional team in the WPS (http://www.womensprosoccer.com/).  Ajax has appeared in 5 WPSL Final 4’s from 2006 - 2010 and Brian has been WPSL coach of the year 4 times. Ajax have won the WPSL National Championship twice and been US Soccer National Champions 5 times under Brians coaching. 18 of the Ajax players were drafted into the WPS for the inaugural season.  10 of Ajax 2009 players were on 2010 WPS teams. In all 29 Ajax players have played in the WPS in the last 3 years. Brian was also ranked #5 women’s coach in the world by womensworldfootball.com.

Even though Brian has had success over the years as a coach it has never been about winning. Success has been secondary to the number of players who have gone "ONWARD" (FRAM is Norwegian for onward) into the world and used  FRAM Soccer as a stepping stone in their lives. Its’ not about the game won or lost yesterday, but about helping to build a foundation for the players’ futures.
