For the Love of the Game was founded by husband and wife team, Clive and Sally Hulbert.  Clive has extensive soccer experience, both as a player and a coach, and Sally is an NNEB qualified child educator with many years of experience working with young children. They strongly believe the key to coaching this age group is to create a positive fun environment and let the game be the teacher. Together they created an age-appropriate soccer based curriculum and developed our first Soccer for Tots program. Classes are formatted to allow each child the opportunity to develop their soccer skills at his or her own pace without the pressure of competition.  Our goal is to give kids the best possible introduction to the sport allowing them to develop a true love of the game which in turn creates a desire to practice, improve and succeed.

Our first Soccer For Tots program for 3 to 5 year olds launched in the fall of 2004 and was an instant success. Since that time the program has experienced considerable growth, with hundreds of tots now enjoying weekly classes on two continents. With an 80% re-enrollment rate many of our tots have grown with us prompting the introduction of our Soccer for Sixes program.  This exciting new program offers after school and summer classes for kindergarteners through age 6

Outstanding Instruction Sets Us Apart
Our coaches are selected for their ability to work with this age group and have all undergone full training in the ‘Soccer for Tots’ or ‘Soccer for Sixes’ curriculum.  All our coaches have completed full Department of Justice background checks.  Their own ‘love of the game’ and soccer experience is what makes them good coaches. Their natural ability to relate to young children is what makes them GREAT coaches.
